Hume Camp FAQs
-
In the past, we have found that electronic devices have become a distraction from the fun and fellowship that we have at camp. So this year, we are excited to announce that our week at Hume Lake will be unplugged!
Practically, this means that we are asking that all electronic devices (iphones, ipads, etc) are left at home. There are pay-phones at Hume Lake, where students can make calls home throughout the week. Our staff members will also have access to phone calls and email, if an emergency situation happens during our week away.
We also understand that photos are important to our students, so we will be allowing digital cameras & you will find an "add-on" during payment, if you'd like to purchase a disposable camera for your student.
If we learn that your student has an electronic device in their possession during camp, they will no longer be able to participate. They will need to be picked up by you or another family member, immediately.
Thank you for your partnership in making camp a week of less distraction and deeper connection amongst our community!
If you have any questions or concerns, please email Austin Payne at ap@3crosses.church.

Where is Hume Lake?
Hume Lake Christian Camps is in the Sequoia National Park. High School students attend Ponderosa and Middle School students attend Meadow Ranch. How do we get there?
We'll be taking buses and vehicles to Hume Lake. -
Our spots for camp are limited, so we ask that you please check your calendar before signing up. With that being said, if your camper can no longer attend and we’re able to find someone to fill their spot, you will receive a full refund.
-
Unfortunately, this will not be accepted this year.
-
There is no official last day to sign up. However, there IS a limited number of spots and it's very hard for us to get any more once we've run out. If we run out of spots your child will be placed on a waiting list. The sooner you sign up or get on the waiting list the better chance your child can go to camp.
-
Hume Lake recommends $60-$80. You will also need money for lunch on the ride to camp and lunch on the ride home.
-
Please send 5 days prior to the desired delivery date. Address the letter EXACTLY as follows:
